智慧型 CAN BUS 訓練整合系統共有一台 CAN BUS 網路人機介面平台和 10 片 CAN BUS 實驗模組。系統除提供 CAN BUS 信號輸出/輸入操作、CAN 通訊的資料格式呈現和各種量測電壓波形展示外，依照 OBD-Ⅱ 參數編號汽車之運轉、空氣流量、溫度變化、燃料系統、點火系統和怠速控制閥的各種感測器測量特性和致動器操作大小等通訊協定，並明確顯示相關異動對照位元組資料的改變。

採用原 KL-800 架構，將原有的中央處理模式變更為分散式的 CAN (Controller Area Network) BUS 介面，介面經由雙絞線傳輸資料與控制碼，就可達成互控機制。
KL-800A 模組本身就是一個 ECU (Electronic Control Unit)，此產品也在協助學生了解最新款車輛電子控制單元 (ECU) 間傳輸介面 CAN 網路之原理與協定。因此所有資料都經由 CAN BUS 送至 MCU 處理藉此直接達到互控機制。訊號送到個人電腦可做簡易的電腦監測系統，將相關數據呈現，並有簡易故障功能警示燈可達到警示目的。
本系統模擬汽車之燃料系統、點火系統和廢氣系統之控制。內容包含汽車的感知 (SENSOR) 和制動器等的構造和電腦的相關作用知識，並增加了 CAN 的相關知識也讓學生認識多工系統的概念。

Interactive Computerized Automotive System. The whole system has been modularized to provide electronic and automotive courses with step-by-step experiments on educational technology training. All theoretical, experimental and practical learning procedures are supported by personal computer assisted supervision and dedicated software. The KL-800 can simulate the operation of fuel injection system, ignition system, and the control of exhaust gas, etc. Experiments include the characteristics, and operation of various sensors and actuators, monitored by microprocessor on the main unit.
